On GPEssen we show a photo for every dish so you can quickly get an idea of it.
AI-generated illustrative images
Many photos are illustrative images created with artificial intelligence (AI). They are based on the description of the dish on the restaurant's menu and are marked "✦ AI image". They show what the dish typically looks like. The dish actually served may differ in appearance, presentation and portion size. The information on the menu and in the restaurant is what counts.
Original photos
Some restaurants have already provided their own photos of their dishes. These photos carry no label. Step by step we replace AI images with original photos as soon as restaurants send them to us.
